Uji Filtrasi Heat and Moisture Exchangers (HME) dalam Menyaring Gas Formaldehida

This study aims to examine the use of Heat and Moisture Exchangers (HME) filters in filtering volatile organic compounds (formaldehyde) produced from surgical fumes, a side effect using hazardous electrical-based instruments. The method used is descriptive with total sample 15, divided into three groups, namely HME1, HME2 HME3. results showed that HME1 filter obtained highest formaldehyde value 15.95 ppm lowest 10 mean 12.99 ppm; 13.98 ppm, 7.98 9.58 HME3 11.98 4.99 number ppm. In conclusion, there difference average amount smoke after being given action modification (HME1, HME3). modified can be capture/filter fumes.
